Handles under .gov.ai and country sub-roots (.ae.ai, .ph.ai) are Sovereign Anchors. They sit entirely outside the market mechanics that govern brand and personal handles.

How sovereign handles differ

  • No buyout. Any challenge attempt is rejected with ERR_SOVEREIGN_IMMUNITY at the core.
  • No tax burn. Exempt from the continuous Harberger monitor — they cannot hit zero runway or be auto-suspended.
  • Multi-sig control. Reallocation requires an N-of-M cryptographic signature from a hardware-backed national PKI root — not a credit card.
